What is the Lab Class??

We are excited to offer a class called “The Lab” that will be used to focus on topics like pranayama, yoga philosophy, mediation, dissection of a pose, strength building, fundamentals of a certain system of yoga, etc. Some classes will have a physical practice but others will not. The Lab will be followed by a 90 minute asana class taught by the same teacher. We are offering this new class because of the demand from our students to offer more instruction on the other limbs of yoga in addition to Asana. A student could take The Lab and the corresponding Asana class separately or take both of them together for an an evening of yoga! We hope this will give our students a unique experience as well as providing a complete Yoga education here at Moksha. We are sure these classes will help you to deepen your understanding and practice of Yoga.

All one hour classes at Moskha are $12. You can take any Lab at this rate and the following asana at our standard $17 a class.

Deepening your Practice: Meditation, the Breathe and Asana

Asana are born from a meditative mind space. In this class you will discover the meaning of yoga as you yoke your attention with your body and your breath using traditional and exploratory meditation and breathing exercises. We will use asana as malleable shapes to discover greater comfort and ease in our bodies and offering you an opportunity to experience your natural state of peace.

Jonny Nobleza Thursday Night Lab

Logan Square- 5:30-6:30pm with asana to follow 6:45-8:15pm

AcroYoga Inversion & Strength Training

This class will focus on incorporating the spirit and mindfulness of Yoga into Acrobatic strength and inversion training. Students will learn safe and effective methods of practicing various head and arm balances as well as ways of spotting and supporting one another in building strength.

This Lab will be followed by Bhakti Thai & Fly 6:45-8:15pm

Bhakti Thai & Fly is a celebration of community and life. We open with the practice of Bhakti (devotion) Yoga through devotional chanting with live musical instrumentation. The blanket of group melody and pulse sets the foundation to practice the ancient art of Thai Massage and an incorporation of it's techniques into Therapeutic Flying. No partner necessary, just an open mind and heart.
