Ashley Bush

Ashley has been studying at Moksha since 2004. When tragedy shook her very foundation in February 2007 she turned to her practice. Through this very hard time, her practice strengthened and provided an internal peace and sactuary for her.

Ashley practices many styles of yoga but tends to return again and again to her Hatha-Vinyasa roots with an influence from Anusara. Ashley contributes her personal strength to the Moksha community who has provided her with friendship and guidance from teachers such as Michael Faith, Kim Wilcox, Cynthia Latimer and Jen Mullholland.

When she is not practicing or working as a manager at Moksha, Ashley is pursuing her dream as an actor. She has been performing in Chicago professionally with many different companies for 5 years. Currently she can be seen every Saturday night at 10:30 at the IO theatre performing with the Cupid Players with whom she is an ensemble member.

Ashley also is the co-owner of La Costa Theatre Company(www.lacostatheatre.com) located on Chicago's Northwest side where she produces many shows and sometimes performs. As if that were not enough, Ashley is also passionate about her role as the Chicago Liaison of The Reilly C Bush Memorial Foundation a charity started by her family that is dedicated to children in many ways.
