Salena Hanrahan is a licensed acupuncturist and has been a personal trainer and coach since 2003. After being introduced first hand to the effectiveness of Chinese Medicine through her clients and rehabilitated athletes, she decided to pursue a Masters of Science at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Salena is a nationally certified Diplomate in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), the highest level of certification available. She has experience working in a variety of integrated medical facilities including Acusport, a health center for injured professional and amateur athletes; San Diego Hospice and the Center for Palliative Care; University of California's Free Clinic; and Chicago Women's Health Center.

Salena enjoys working with a variety of patients and helping people find greater health. She currently works with breast cancer survivors at Mercy Hospital in the Comprehensive Breast Care Center under the program’s founder, Maria Mulcahy. She is also a teaching assistant at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

Salena has practiced yoga for several years and has been a life long athlete. Today, she practices Ashtanga Yoga having studied at the Sri K Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore, India. She is excited to serve the Moksha yoga community as their resident acupuncturist.
