Gregg Mierow
Twenty minutes into Gregg’s first yoga class, he realized it’s what he had been seeking his whole life. He is more able to find that elusive balance between effort and surrender—physically, mentally and emotionally—in his yoga practice than in any other area of his life. His yoga practice keeps him grounded in the realities of day-to-day life while reminding him that everything is in flux. The harder you try to hold onto something and keep it the same, the more it slips through your fingers. So you might as well trust the Universe and open yourself to its potential.
Gregg completed the first teacher training offered by Daren Friesen at Moksha. He feels fortunate to have been exposed to a variety of excellent teachers, including Erich Schiffman, Gary Kraftsow, Saul David Raye, Seane Corn and Lino Miele. In 1999, he studied with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore India. He’s trained extensively with Ana Forrest, attending her first teacher training offered in Chicago and completing her advanced teacher training in 2003. |
