Min Chong
Min's interest in yoga began back in the late '90s at his health club. At first, he practiced yoga sporadically to supplement his regular workout and sports activities. But after over a decade of weight lifting, biking, rugby, and volleyball, it was taking a toll on his joints, and yoga seemed a good remedy. In the beginning, yoga was nothing more than a workout to him, a way to relieve stress after work. But with regular daily practice, he became almost addicted to the calming and meditative flow of ashtanga yoga, and the incredible energy he felt after practice. He has studied with various senior teachers in ashtanga and other styles, but Tim Miller has been his biggest influence. Having read all the books he could find and wanting to learn more, Min moved to Encinitas, California to delve deeper into the practice with Tim. The most important thing I learned from Tim was the Truth about do the practice and all is coming, about surrendering to the practice.
