Chakra 101

Introduction to the Subtle Spinning Wheels
Saturday May 19

regular: $60
member: $48

Take your yoga practice to the next level with this introductory
workshop to the chakras.

According to the ancient chakra system there are 7 traditional energy centers
in the esoteric body. In this workshop you will learn what and where a
chakra is and how to gain awareness of physical, energetic, and emotional patterns
that correlate with under or over active chakras. For this event we
will use asana, pranayama, mudras, mantras and meditation to create
harmony in the subtle body with the assistance of crystals and oils to
support each chakra.

Join Sarah Lindgren in this extraordinary practice to gain insight of your energetic
body. You will leave feeling more in tune physically, emotionally,
and spiritually.

About Sarah Lindgren

I wish to live in a world where people communicate face to face, eat real food, and nurture themselves as well as those around them.

I began practicing yoga in 2006 while I was expecting my first daughter. I have found that a full practice guided by the 8 limbs of yoga provides me with a deeper understanding of myself and connectivity to those around me. I practice and teach because yoga gives you permission to be yourself, uncovered, dirty and honest and we all need to know that it is okay to just be as we are.

As a yoga teacher, montessorian, and JuicePlus representative I’ve been teaching yoga since summer of 2015, gaining 200hr certification in 2016 from Moksha Yoga in Chicago. Working with children ranging in age from 15 months – 9 years at a local Montessori school since 2009 and helping people develop awareness about the food they put in their mouths as well as their children’s mouths since 2011.

When I’m not meditating, or attempting arm balances and inversions, you can find me gardening with my family and whipping up vegan sweets.

Join me in cultivating a more compassionate, judgeless, and honest community through the practice of yoga. and
