Discover the power of self healing through moving meditations to create a relaxation response to stress, sharpen the mind, enhance the immune system, and even reverse the aging process. It is a different approach to health. Instead of a high physical intensity work out, it is slow gentle movements and coordinated breath to allow you to cultivate your Qi, or life force energy. Think Tai Chi, but not martial arts based. The exercises are simple, repetitive, and build your energy instead of depleting it (like working out at the gym for example). You learn how to defend yourself against illness and emotional stress, and break the patterns that contribute to your stress. Just one class will leave you feeling centered, calm, and self aware.
Summer Spirit Workshop
Summertime is for the heart to radiate joy and love! Healthy heart Qi maintains our innate wisdom and emotional balance. Imbalanced symptoms include palpitations, shortness of breath, restlessness, insomnia, forgetfulness and chest pain. This workshop will focus on strengthening the heart, promoting blood circulation to encourage free flowing Qi.
Role of the heart: The heart is the emperor of the organs and its main functions are associated with the spirit and blood vessels. It nourishes the organs by pumping blood through the vessels to all parts of the body, maintaining vitality. The heart manifests on the face (rosy vs pale complexion), and opens into the tongue. It stores the spirit and is associated with mental processes. When there is ample heart qi, the mind is clear, nimble and full of vigor.
Class will end with a crystal bowl sound meditation. Sound has the profound ability to raise your body’s vibration, while relaxing your senses. This unique combination with Qi Gong will elevate your consciousness to another level, you won’t want to miss!
Venus believes we all have the ability to heal ourselves through the power of breath. Her journey began in 2006 when she was prone to sickness and felt her output was way more than her input. In 2012 she became a Certified Medical Qi Gong Instructor under the study of Sifu Gail Galivan at Inner Alchemy Energy Medicine. Turning off the outside world while emphasizing intuition, creativity, and imagination, she applies the power of intention with moving meditations. Her classes and workshops allow each individual to experience their inner universe with significance and ease, creating a more harmonious life.
