Arm Balances – Get Grounded for Confidence in Arm Balancing
It’s all in the set up!  This class is for those challenged by arm balances and for those who love them! We will explore poses that will strengthen and prepare for arm balances.  Basic shoulder alignment will be built through simpler poses and carried forth to full arm balances.  Students will be guided through a sequence that will prepare the foundation necessary to do these poses with ease and freedom.

Sat, July 17 10:00-1pm $45($50 after July 6)

Drop Backs: Back Bends for intermediate students
Back bends are invigorating and heart opening: challenging and very rewarding.  Come prepared to open the heart and play with these most exhilarating poses that will lead us to playing with “Drop Backs.”  We will create a safe and comfortable environment that we can all work from.  You do not need to be able to them to come to this class. A good Urdhva Dhanurasana practice is encouraged.
Standing poses and beginning back bends will be used to build up for intermediate poses.

Sun, July 18 10:00-1pm $45($50 after July 6)

Standing Poses: The Heart of Yoga
Standing poses are some of the most therapeutic of yoga poses and serve as the Gateway to all other postures. Standing poses can be hip openers, preparation for backbends, forward bends, and twists. They strengthen and open our body in a safe way. They explore and help us learn to integrate the actions and alignments necessary to practice all of the postures.  In this workshop we will focus on the deep hip opening that standing poses facilitate.
We will end the class in a deep, reflective restorative sequence.
Working from the Ground up these are the postures to build your practice.  This workshop is open to all level students.
