Gain access to blossoming and becoming your vision through asana in this lower body focused workshop with Anusara-Inspired teacher Sara Strother. This 3 hour workshop will explore clearing energy channels of the root chakra, the muladhara, by focusing on the vital energy of apana vayu. Introduction to these mediums, strong asana practice, and meditation will fill this Saturday morning of anchoring our roots and growing our lotus.
Through focusing on the down and out energy flows this asana and meditation practice will help you to:
- Improve stability physically and emotionally
- Improve the last stages of digestion and elimination
- Clear blocked emotional and mental experiences
- Increase mobility in hips
- Open the lower back and strengthen legs
An exploration of mixed level standing and hip opening poses will be addressed!
Sara Strother is an Anusara-Inspired instructor who has been studying yoga for over 10 years, guided by leading Anusara teachers such as John Friend, Noah Maze, Sianna Sherman and Darren Rhodes, and has been teaching since 2004.
