Seane Corn's Chakra Flow Workshops originally scheduled for August 27-29 has been rescheduled. She is mourning the loss of her father and is not comfortable teaching at this time. Seane would like to reschedule for October 8-10, 2010.

Join Seane for this special weekend workshop where we will explore beyond our bodies, our relationship with the divine. Transformation begins when we understand there is no separation between the mind, body and spirit - appreciating the inter-dependency of all moments, great and small, light and dark as whole and sacred. The chakra system provides us a roadmap that affirms this perception and presents a formula to make it tangible. Understanding the chakras and recognizing them as a bridge between the physical and metaphysical bodies can provide us energetic and intellectual tools for healing. Using the chakra system correctly, we can identity, reconcile and heal restrictive emotional patterns and physical imbalances in our mind/body. In this class, we will use the tools of asana, meditation, reflection, intention and prayer to facilitate this inquiry and to understand the dynamics of the charkas so as to empower our health and life.

The study of the chakras can help us develop our intuition, awareness and consciousness (Mind). It can balance us physically, plus ground and center our energy (Body). It can also increase our personal power and relationship to the Sacred, seeing our lives symbolically. This in turn gives a more compassionate understanding towards our personal issues and can reveal mystical insight into our Dharma (Spirit).

Friday 6:30-9pm: Setting a Sacred Context We will have a discussion of mind and body to set the spiritual context of the workshop, setting an intention- followed by a vigorous but grounding vinyasa flow class designed to purify the physical and energetic bodies.

Saturday 10-12:30pm: EARTH/FIRE A stimulating, provocative and challenging vinyasa flow class focusing on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd charkas.

Saturday 2:30-5:00pm: FIRE/WATER A slow, deep and restorative heart-centered class focusing on the 4th chakra.

Sunday 10am-1pm: AIR/ETHER A creative, inspiring and awakening vinayasa flow class focused on the 5th, 6th and 7th chakra’s. This class will tie the workshop together and unite the themes for all the individual energy systems, restoring balance and harmony in your body.
