Yoga Therapeutic Intensive: Low Back & Sacrum

This day long training focuses on the application of postures for the lower back and sacrum. Low back strain is frequently due to pulling in the hamstring, outer leg and buttock. This class maps patterns of strain in the legs and through both dynamic and supported postures.

The aim of this mini-immersion is chikitsa: applying posture techniques as a remedy for the way torque and compression compromise the sacrum, the sacral-iliac joints and the lumbar spine.

This immersion is designed for teachers, teachers in training and anyone interested in a detailed study of therapeutic techniques for the sacrum and low back.

This intensive will include a 1-1/2 hour lunch break from 12:30-2 pm.
