Part 1: Foundational Coursework

LECTURE SERIES
Intro to Ayurveda (1 session) - Learn the key principles of Ayurveda.
Yama & Niyama Sutras (1 session) - classical yoga philosophy practice principles.
Sattvic Nutrition (1 session) - organic, fresh and whole foods.

Master Teacher Roundtable (5 sessions) 
Select sessions with master teachers exclusively for trainees, hosted in Chicago

Seva (monthly for 2 hours)
Offering of service

Final Exam Project
A unique and suprising twist to a final exam

Thesis Presentations & Certification Ceremony (closing circle) 
Share the results of your thesis project with other trainees

Special Events, Lectures, and Workshops
Select sessions with experienced and master teachers offered free-of-charge for trainees

*Note: Events electives are an additional charge and not included in the training program tuition


Sample Weekly Time Commitment
This program requires a significant time commitment of up to 15-20 hours per week, including practice classes.  Please consider your availability carefully before registering. Once accepted into the program, please clear your schedule of activities, commitments, and distractions.

Sample Weekly Schedule:
Training class (1x/week) — 6 hours
Practice classes during the week (2x/week) — 3-4 hours
Homework — 1-3 hours
Miscellaneous requirements such as special events and anatomy — 3-5 hours

Absences
We understand life is very busy with family, activities and work.  You are allowed to miss 1 training class without a make-up in each session (spring/fall).  Every class thereafter requires a make-up by attending sessions held throughout the year at TriBalance in Schaumburg or Moksha in Chicago.
