TUITION & COURSE FEES

Tuition: 

REGULAR DISCOUNT:  $3000 if paid in full by August 15, 2008 ($3300 after August 15, 2008)

REGULAR PRICE:  $3300 if paid in partial or full after August 15, 2008

Payment Plan ($3300):

• $1500 due August 15, 2008
• Promissory note, payment schedule and signed agreement due August 15, 2008
• Six post-dated and signed checks for $300 each dated 10/1, 11/1, 12/1, 1/1, 2/1, 3/1 ($1800 balance) - these post-dated checks are due by August 15, 2008

Terms and Conditions:

• A $150 deposit holds your place in the training and is non-refundable/non-transferable
• Returned checks subject to a $25 return fee
• Seva (selfless service) may be waived for an additional $200 fee
• A full refund is available up to September 4, 2008 (less a $150 application fee)
• Those not accepted into the course will be given a full refund

Refunds:

• 100% refund (minus the deposit) if cancelled in writing by Sept 4, 2008
• 50% refund if cancelled in writing by Sept 12, 2008
• 25% refund if cancelled in writing by Sept 19, 2008
• No refunds after Sept 19, 2008

The course fee includes the following items:

• MYC teacher training manual published online
• All MYC teacher training classes as scheduled
• All MYC practice classes Aug 15, 2008 - June 1, 2009
• All Devi 2000 Kirtans
• All practice classes with Daren Friesen starting with registration and acceptance to the program

The course fee entitles you to the following discounts:

• 10% discount on all boutique items from time of registration to June 1, 2009 (no retroactive discounts for purchases already made)
• 20% discount on all guest Kirtans at MYC
• 20% discount on all workshops and special events at MYC during the course of the program

The course fee does NOT include the following:

• MYC classes beyond those described above
• Anatomy for Yogi's with Shanna Linn ($200)
• Yoga Anatomy Teacher Training with Tias Little ($550)
• Required Props (mat, strap, block, neti pot, notebook, journal)
• Required Textbooks - You may purchase all required textbooks at Moksha at 10% off, check them out at a public library, or buy them from one of a prior year's trainees. To help defray the cost, you may also consider sharing with another current trainee.
• Sorry, no discounts on other teacher training programs held at MYC (Andrey Lappa, Shiva Rea, Aadil Palkhivala, etc.)

Scholarships

• A 20% discount ($600) is available to those participating in Moksha's Work-Study program.  The commitment for this non-paid work-study position is a weekly shift of 4-5 hours assisting the studio in one of two areas - front desk (answering phones and checking-in students) or cleaning.  To participate in the work-study program, a minimum 6 months attendance at Moksha classes or workshops is required.  Applicants are required to attend an interview and positions are offered on a space available basis.  Please contact todd@mokshayoga.com for further information.  Positions are offered only at Moksha Yoga Center's studios in Chicago.

These requirements are designed to conform to and exceed the Yoga Alliance National Teacher Training certification standards. By attending, completing, and/or receiving certification in this program, you will not automatically be offered a teaching position at Moksha Yoga Center or any other facility.  Certification is up to the sole discretion of the teacher trainer and Moksha Yoga Center.  Certification may be denied to any participant for any reason.
