TEACHER TRAINING > CHICAGO 2009-10
TUITION & FEES
- A $100 deposit holds your place in the training and is non-refundable/non-transferable
- Returned checks subject to a $25 return fee
- Seva (selfless service) may be waived for an additional $200 fee
- Those not accepted into the course will be given a full refund
Tuition Refunds:
- 100% refund* if cancelled in writing within 1 week of course start date
- 50% refund* if canceled in writing within 2 weeks of course start date
- 25% refund* if canceled in writing within 3 weeks of course start date
- Absolutely NO REFUNDS after the first 3 weeks of the course
* All refunds minus the non-refundable $100 application fee
The Chicago Tuition Includes:
- MYC teacher training manual
- All MYC teacher training classes as scheduled
- All practice classes with Daren Friesen at MYC
- All MYC practice classes from program start date to July 31, 2010 (Chicago program ONLY)
- All Devi 2000 Kirtans (100% discount)
- 10% discount on all boutique items from time of registration to July 31, 2010
- 20% discount on all guest Kirtans at MYC to July 31, 2010
- 20% discount on all workshops and special events at MYC to July 31, 2010
The Tuition Does NOT Include the Following:
- MYC classes beyond those described above
- Yoga Anatomy for Teachers with Shanna Linn ($250)
- Yoga Anatomy Teacher Training with Tias Little ($500 for each of 2 programs)
- Required Props (mat, strap, block, neti pot, notebook, journal)
- Required Textbooks - You may purchase all required textbooks at Moksha at 10% off, check them out at a public library, or buy them from one of a prior year's trainees. To help defray the cost, you may also consider sharing with another current trainee.
- Sorry, no discounts on other teacher training programs held at MYC (Shiva Rea, Maty Ezraty, Aadil Palkhivala, etc.)
Chicago Tuition Payment Options:
Early Bird Discount: $3,200 if paid in full by July 15, 2009 EXTENDED UNTIL JULY 31!!
Regular Tuition: $3,400 if paid in full by August 15, 2009
Tuition Payment Plan: $3,600 if paid in partial or full after August 15, 2009
* apply the $100 deposit to your tuition balance
- This plan must be set up in advance, please talk with a manager to discuss the details
- $1800 due three weeks before the first training class (including the $100 deposit)
- Six pre-scheduled payments for $300 each ($1,800)
- A signed promissory note provided by MYC is required
Scholarships
- A 25% discount ($800) is available to those participating in Moksha's Work-Study program. The commitment for this non-paid work-study position is a weekly shift of 4-5 hours assisting the studio in one of two areas - front desk (answering phones and checking-in students) or cleaning. To participate in the work-study program, a minimum 6 months attendance at Moksha classes or workshops is required. Applicants are required to attend an interview and positions are offered on a space available basis. Please contact nicola@mokshayoga.com for further information. Positions are offered only at Moksha Yoga Center's studios (Riverwest & Lakeview) in Chicago.
