ANATOMY COURSEWORK

Anatomy coursework is an important and integral component of Moksha's teacher training program certification requirements.  With doctors and the medical establishment recommending yoga to their patients, yoga teachers need to be educated and aware of the mechanics of the body and basic anatomical terms and structures more than ever.  Moksha's anatomy coursework assists the trainee in developing a strong foundation in one's understanding of the body in relationship to the principles of yoga.  We do not allow substitute coursework for these programs with other anatomy courses such as those taken at a community college or university.  These programs specifically integrate yogic knowledge into the anatomy coursework and are taught by instructors who also practice and teach yoga.  You will find Moksha's selection of inspirational instructors teaching the material in a way that is both interesting and engaging.

Yoga Anatomy Training Part 1 with Master Teacher Tias Little *

Tuesday - Friday, Nov 10-13, 2009 - 9:30am-5pm (1 hr lunch break)
