Rob Cianciaruso
Robert discovered yoga at Moksha during the covid pandemic and was instantly hooked. He loved the sense of community and the relaxed, welcoming nature of Moksha. Unlike some of the corporate studios he’s tried, the shavasana’s at Moksha were never rushed. To Robert, there’s nothing better than a long, well earned shavasana after a challenging physical class with lots of movement and long strong holds.
Robert learned from several of Moksha’s finest teachers that anything is possible when you put your mind to it. With time, dedication, and patience, you will succeed. He owes gratitude to those teachers that inspired him at Moksha including Rob Lejman, Sarah Lindgren, Dmytro Nor, Elizabeth Meininger, Maximilian, and of course Darren Friesen, the master of adjustments. These teachers taught him that the practice is truly about the journey and not the destination. Robert enjoys a playful and fun practice, he isn’t afraid to laugh at himself or at others.
When not practicing yoga, or his corporate job, Robert enjoys spending time outside in nature, walking, and being active with friends and family away from technology. He also has a strong passion for all things Italy. He’s visited the country over a dozen times. His love for the culture has led him to studying the language for quite some time. Like in yoga, it’s an ongoing challenge for him that he enjoys. To Robert it is the most beautiful language in the world.
