Mamta began practicing Yoga in 2003. In 2015 she left a corporate career of over 20 years to pursue her passion for teaching yoga. Certified as a 200hour Yoga Teacher from Moksha Yoga and registered with Yoga Alliance in 2017, Mamta loves teaching the more meditative styles of yoga including Restorative and Hatha Yoga. Mamta has completed advanced studies with Leeann Carey in Restorative, and Gabriel Halpern in Iyengar to refine and deepen her understanding of the more subtle aspects of practice. Mamta teaches in the western suburbs and at Moksha Yoga. She is the founder of On Her Own.org”, a foundation that supports women and children. “Yoga is a journey from the inside out”. Mamta sees her role as a guide to facilitate the evolution of aligning the human spirit with the human body in a way that promotes calmness, physical movement, emotional strength which leads to a strong and healthy body and mind.
