Sue discovered yoga as a martial arts student in 2004 and gravitated to a physical yoga practice while recovering from athletic injuries. She loved how she felt after a yoga class, and the restorative energy helped her continue her athletic adventures in running, biking, swimming, skiing and hiking. Over the past 3 years, Sue’s dedication to and love for yoga as a healing practice has deepened, attending several yoga and meditation retreats and workshops. Inspired by the spiritual, intellectual and physical practice of Yoga, she is nearing completion of her foundation 200 hour teacher training certification with Moksha Yoga Center and will graduate in the fall of 2020.
Sue enjoys being a part of the Chicago yoga community; she lives in Roscoe village with her husband, step-daughter and two endlessly energetic doggies, Rocky & Yoda. She and her family love the outdoors, travel, arts and adventure. Sue founded her own leadership advisory business and has over 25 years’ experience in executive search and global talent acquisition. She is passionate about paying it forward and actively participates as a fundraising advisor for Children’s Research Triangle and contributor to Snow City Arts.
Sue’s classes focus on breath, alignment, movement and strength building. Her goal is to welcome all yogis by creating an energetic, fun and encouraging environment of togetherness and community.
