Brandon Wright
William Brandon grew up in Chicago sharing a home with his mother in Little Italy and with his father in Humboldt Park. His father was a martial arts master and encouraged Wm B to study Aikido at the age of 4. He pursued his black belt in Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do at the age of 13 and taught a martial arts class at his dad’s Dojo. His mother instilled a spiritual upbringing, cooking and serving others. Both parents supported his love for football. He was injured several times, and as a result, he learned to heal his body through stretching and meditation. His natural athletic ability led him to teach gym to elementary school aged children at the Intercultural Montessori School.
After attending a Profession Football day in 2019, he decided to hang up his cleats. He searched for the perfect Yoga Teacher Training program and found Moksha Yoga Center where he studied and completed the Teacher Training program with his mother in late 2019. Wm connects with his breath to find centering, strength and stability in the most peaceful and subtle way, which is very much his personality.
In William’s class you can expect an easy-going, yet intense class which will include a laugh or two. You will leave feeling strong and in touch with your true essence of peace and love.
