Intro to Yoga

Moksha Yoga Center offers a continuous series of Basics/Intro classes that give all students the opportunity to return to the fundamentals of yoga. These classes are great if you have never done yoga before, if you are returning to yoga after a break, or if you are a regular student interested in strengthening the foundation of your practice.

Basics/Intro classes are taught in a four-week series designed to help students understand the basics and fundamentals of yoga asana (postures), pranayama (breathing), and meditation. Asana alignment, tools, and techniques will be introduced in a non-competitive, fun atmosphere. Basics/Intro Classes are appropriate for new or continuing students.

You are encouraged to choose a four-week Intro to Yoga series listed below or drop into any Basics/Intro class on our schedule. As a new student, it benefits you to attend these classes consistently and to repeat the series many times. If you miss a class you are welcome to attend any other Basics/Intro class.
