Catherine Cantieri

Catherine took her first yoga class in 2012, and has been drawn to the practice ever since. After attending an inspiring yoga retreat in 2023, she’s been dedicated to deepening her practice and now finds purpose in helping others feel grounded, confident, and connected to their bodies through yoga. As a lifelong resident of the Chicagoland area, she’s attuned to the rhythms of Midwestern life and draws inspiration from everyday moments of stillness and connection. Outside of her passions for yoga and writing, Catherine enjoys exploring nature, hiking with her husband and two dogs, Bennie and Jet, and seeking out cozy corners to read and reflect.

Certified at Moksha Yoga Center as a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, Catherine began teaching yoga in 2025. She began her yoga journey as a way to cultivate strength, emotional well-being, and presence, and over time, it grew into a calling to share that practice with others.

In Catherine’s classes, students can expect a welcoming space that invites both grounding and growth. Her teaching style blends mindful sequencing, breath-centered movement, and an emphasis on inner awareness, encouraging students to meet themselves with compassion and curiosity. Her approach is rooted in the belief that yoga should meet you where you are—accessible, sustainable, and supportive of your unique journey. Whether you’re just beginning or rediscovering movement later in life, her practice is here to help you feel empowered and at ease.
