Danielle Rashin
Rooted in the grit and resilience of her Chicago upbringing, Danielle has carried creativity and movement as constants throughout her life. As a child, she found freedom in running and painting—two outlets that shaped her sense of expression and discipline. That love of movement evolved into a lifelong connection with yoga, and her creative eye led her into a career as a professional makeup artist, taking her from Chicago to Los Angeles to study at Makeup Designory in Burbank California.
Danielle took her first yoga class in Chicago, before she ever picked up a makeup brush. She discovered a new form of movement that peaked her interest and left an indelible mark—a sense of inner connection she never forgot. While living in California, she began exploring other styles of yoga and meditation, weaving the practice in and out of her life as she navigated different chapters, always returning to her mat.
Meditation became a true lifeline during one of the hardest periods of her life—grieving the loss of her father to cancer and caring for him during his final chapter. In that experience, she came back to yoga not just as movement, but as medicine. She turned toward these practices to help support her mentally, spiritually, and physically from stress, grief, and chronic illness. That journey led her to pursue yoga teacher training and commit more deeply to this path of service and a desire to help others access the same healing she had found.
In her classes, Danielle creates a welcoming space where students are invited to explore movement as a form of expression and cultivate emotional connection. Her approach blends artistic insight with compassionate guidance, allowing each student to feel seen, supported, and empowered. Whether seeking strength, softness, or space to just be, students can expect a class that honors the whole self.
