Kirtan Lab
Mantra • Music • Meaning • Community
Dates: February 12 & 26, 2026 (alternating weeks)
Facilitator: Subala Dasa
Kirtan Lab is an immersive mantra meditation experience that blends live kirtan, bhajans, and reflective listening into a welcoming, participatory space. Rooted in the Bhakti yoga tradition, this session invites participants to experience sacred sound not only as music, but as a transformative yogic practice.
Through call-and-response chanting, gentle musical accompaniment, and short contextual explanations, participants explore:
- The meaning and intention behind traditional mantras
- How sacred sound affects consciousness and inner wellbeing
- Chanting as a practical meditation for everyday life
- Collective resonance, presence, and joy through shared sound
No prior experience with chanting or yoga philosophy is required. Participants are welcome to chant, listen, or simply rest in the sound.
Each evening concludes with a healthy vegetarian dinner, offering time to connect, unwind, and build community in a relaxed and nourishing atmosphere.
