Yoga & Art for Healing

Yoga & Art for Healing is a summer-inspired series hosted by artist and yoga instructor Kallayah Henderson. Each session begins with a yoga flow paired with breathwork and guided meditation, designed to bring calm, clarity, and focus while opening the senses for creative expression.

Afterward, participants will create collages inspired by the colors, textures, and feelings of their favorite aspects of summer. All materials are provided, and you are welcome to bring a journal to capture thoughts, sketches, or reflections alongside your artwork.

This series offers a space to move, explore, and connect with inspiration and creativity. No prior yoga or art experience is needed—just curiosity and openness.

About Kallayah

Born and raised in South Florida, Kallayah Henderson began her yoga journey in 2020 after moving to Chicago, where what started as a search for breath and connection evolved into a dedicated practice and way of life. Drawn to the depth of Aṣṭāṅga Yoga at Moksha, she now offers both grounding, heat-building vinyāsa and traditional Aṣṭāṅga Half Primary classes, guiding students inward to connect with breath and quiet the mind. She is also an artist, poet, and teacher who fosters creativity and community through her work.

“Yoga signifies the means to the realization of one’s true nature” ~Sri K. Pattabhi Jois
