An Introduction to Breathwork — A Science-Based Journey for the Stressed Mind
Most of us are living in our heads. Thinking, planning, managing, worrying — running on stress so familiar we’ve stopped noticing it. We try to fix it with more — more sleep, more exercise, more therapy — but something still feels off.
Breathwork gets underneath all of that.
In this 60-minute session you’ll learn the science behind why conscious connected breathing works, what happens in your body during a journey, and then experience it for yourself. This is a shortened journey designed specifically for those who are curious and want to try breathwork for the first time in a safe, supported container.
What to expect:
-Brief introduction to the science of breathwork and why it works
-What to expect during a journey and how to navigate it
-A guided visualization to drop in
-A 30-minute conscious connected breathing journey
-10 minutes of integration and reflection
A note before you book:
Breathwork is accessible to most people and no experience is necessary. However out of care for everyone we ask that you please reach out before booking if you are pregnant, have a history of epilepsy, cardiovascular conditions, recent surgery, severe anxiety or panic disorder, bipolar disorder, psychosis, or glaucoma, or are currently in acute mental health treatment. A gentler option is always available — we just want to know in advance so we can take the best care of you.
No experience necessary. Just a willingness to show up and breathe.
