The meditation begins with vigorous shaking to loosen physical and energetic blockages, followed by free-form movement and dance that encourages authentic expression and liberation from mental control. As the energy rises and the body softens, the practice gradually transitions into stillness and silent witnessing — allowing participants to observe the mind with greater clarity and spaciousness.
Unlike traditional seated meditation alone, Osho’s active meditations recognize the restless and overstimulated nature of the modern mind, using movement and catharsis as gateways into deeper states of meditation and consciousness.
