Come kick off the first weekend in summer with a yoga mala practice led by Sarah Lindgren. Yoga mala is a practice of 108 sun salutations, it is a moving meditation practice. Much like using a mala for mantra meditation which has 108 beads this practice will bring you into a meditative state. During this to our event, you’ll have time to warm up, to breathe, and rest in savasana. Our 108 sun salutations will consist of a variety of sun salutations including classic sun salutes A, B & C.
It’s best to prepare for this event by maintaining proper hydration, eating meals at least 2 hours before practice to allow for proper digestion. Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in and be prepared to sweat! With sustained movement supported by the rhythm of your breath you’ll reach a profound meditative state and share in in the collective power of meditation through practice.
