Erin Carley
Born and raised in the Milwaukee area, Erin moved to Minneapolis for 6 years before finally finding her way to Chicago. From the plains to the Great Lakes, she draws inspiration from the vastness of the Midwest, connecting to nature and her surroundings through photography and yoga. In her yoga practice, she seeks stillness to keep her grounded, translating that same intention into her classes. Through gentle movement, Erin guides her classes to tune inwards to find connection between breath, body, and mind.
Outside the studio, Erin works in advertising and as a music & documentary photographer. As a music fanatic, she enjoys finding new artists/bands, attending live shows, and practicing guitar (poorly, she adds). You may catch her biking along the lakefront trail, running along the 606, or lying in her hammock in Humboldt Park. You can catch her here at Moksha on Saturday mornings, where she leads a slow-paced yet heat-building Vinyasa 1-2.
