Sylvia Knoerzer

Sylvia’s yoga journey began during her pregnancy with her first child, when she discovered the grounding and healing power of mindful movement. As life grew busier, her practice shifted to occasional restorative sessions, acting as gentle reminders to slow down and reconnect.

The global pause of 2020 reignited her commitment to a regular yoga practice and also opened the door to breathwork, meditation, mantra, and other healing modalities. Seeking a local community, she found Moksha in early 2022, where her practice deepened, inspiring her to pursue a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in the fall of 2025. Even a semi-regular practice brought Sylvia profound relief from physical challenges that traditional therapies couldn’t fully resolve. This experience fuels her passion for helping others discover yoga’s ability to meet the body and mind exactly where they are. Sylvia understands that our needs shift through the seasons of life.

In her classes, she hopes to create space for stillness, strength and connection, guiding students to leave feeling both grounded and energized as they step back into their daily lives. In her free time, Sylvia enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, exploring yoga philosophy and ancient wisdom, and finding peace outdoors.
