Bandhas & Breath Workshop

Enter the subtle body and awaken the inner currents of prāṇa through the union of breath and bandha. In this workshop, we explore the bandha-s—Mūla, Uḍḍīyāna, and Jālandhara—not merely as physical engagements, but as energetic seals that contain, direct, and refine life force within the nāḍī system.

Through conscious prāṇāyāma and meditative movement, you’ll learn to sense the rising and descending flows of prāṇa and apāna, and how their meeting kindles an inner alchemy. As the bandha-s awaken, the body becomes light, the breath subtle, and awareness begins to gather inward, preparing the ground for deeper states of dhāraṇā and meditation.

This practice invites you beyond form and into felt experience—where effort softens into intelligence, and the breath becomes a bridge between the gross and the subtle. Suitable for dedicated practitioners seeking to deepen sensitivity, refine perception, and access the transformative potential of the inner body.

Guided by Ryan Love

Ryan, a Kansas City native and graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, came to yoga through a search for meaning, healing, and wholeness. After beginning with Zen meditation, his path deepened into the study and practice of Classical Yoga, Tantra, and diverse lineages including Vinyasa, Viniyoga, and Aṣṭāṅga. Rooted in kriyā, sādhana, and an independent, inquiry-driven spirit, Ryan’s teaching weaves ancient and modern techniques to cultivate inner wisdom, ahiṃsā, and self-compassion. His classes integrate movement, prāṇāyāma, concentration, and meditation, guiding students toward greater presence, healing, and connection.
