Rachel Lechocki

Ray (Rachel) Lechocki embarked on her yoga journey in 2013, earning certification at Focus OM in Brookfield, mentored by Judi Harvin and her teacher Daren Friesen, the owner of Moksha Yoga. Since then, Ray has been a dedicated instructor, specializing in Hatha and Vinyasa classes, extending her teachings to teens and children as well. Beyond the studio, Ray seamlessly integrates yoga principles into her life, artistic expression, and teaching endeavors.

For Ray, yoga transcends the confines of a mat or studio; it permeates existence itself. She views yoga as a potent tool for alleviating anxieties, depression, stress, and physical discomfort, fostering both personal and communal connections with the body and mind. Guided by lunar cycles, Ray infuses her teachings with grounding practices, incorporating tantric philosophies, restorative postures, and fluid, dance-like movements.

Drawing from her exploration of mental health and personal struggles with body image, Ray empowers others to cultivate inner confidence and resilience. In addition to teaching classes, workshops, and moon circles in the city, Ray shares her artistic creations and mentors teenagers.

Continuing her journey of growth, Ray has pursued further studies, including Reiki Level 1 from Sat Nam in 2017, Yoga for Trauma and Justice in 2021, and training with Core Power in 2023. Ever open to new modalities of wellness, Ray remains committed to her evolution as both a practitioner and facilitator of holistic well-being.
